Alpha Bank are pleased to be able to offer a choice of mortgage arrangements for properties in Cyprus:
The Alpha Bank Standard Mortgage
A minimum of 20% from your own resources, payable as:
- 15% on signing of contract
- 5% on delivery of the property
A maximum of 80% as a mortgage loan over a maximum of 25 years, subject to age restriction. (Maximum 70 years at end of term)
- Interest rate: Bank margin of 1.75% plus three month LIBOR rate on CHF
- Capital and interest are repayable at the same time for the duration of the loan
The Alpha Bank Flexi Mortgage
A minimum of 20% from your own resources, payable as:
- 15% on signing the contract
- 5% on delivery of the property
A maximum of 80% as a mortgage loan, with payments calculated over 35 years subject to age restriction. (Maximum 70 years at end of term)
- Interest rate: Bank margin of 1.75% plus three month LIBOR rate on CHF
Repayments:
- For the first 5 years - interest only
- For the next 5 years - interest plus capital
- Remainder of term - interest plus capital, including the postponed capital sum due from the first 5 years
The Alpha Bank Interest only Mortgage
A minimum of 30% from your own resources, payable as:
- 15% on signing the contract
- 10% within the first year of signing
- 5% on delivery of the property
A maximum of 70% as a mortgage loan, over a maximum of 15 years
- Interest rate: Bank margin of 2.5% plus three month LIBOR rate on CHF
Repayments - The client may negotiate with the bank to establish the repayment schedule, with the interest figure as the minimum sum
In all cases;
Payments will be drawn down against building progress and interest will start to accrue from the date of the first draw down
A 'grace' period within the full term of the loan means that the first repayment will be made one after taking delivery of the property
Mortgages may be reduced by lump sum payments or paid off in full with no penalty
