Cyprus has been praised for providing visitors with a unique holiday experience.
According to Rhinocarhire.com, the Mediterranean island offers attractions which cannot be found anywhere else in Europe.
The organisation stated that visitors to Cyprus would be able to enjoy a wide numerous sites of historical and cultural interest.
However, it added that since they are spaced out across the island, visitors could benefit from making sure they have transport in order to see them all.
Eric Clapton, spokesperson for Rhinocarhire, commented: "Most other major vacation destinations will cover a far lesser area.
"It is incorrect to try and compare Cyprus with a mainland destination."
Mr Clapton added that most visitors to the island have realised that having access to a vehicle can help them make the most of their holiday.
According to data cited by the Financial Mirror, more than 307,000 foreign leisure travelers visited the Mediterranean island in June 2008.
This is 8.8 per cent higher than the amount recorded a year earlier, which saw 282,000 people arrive in the country. |
